Choice & Self-direction

What does Curtis Homes Do?

We live alongside people with disabilities and help them seek a life that is not restricted by it.

How do you do that?

By offering as many diverse and meaningful services as we can, resulting in genuine relationships and an enriched life.

Our Mission: “we exist to be the best employer and care provider possible.”

Founded in 2016, Curtis Homes began by meeting the needs of young adults transitioning out of the youth group home system. We soon recognized that we could do even more to serve our community. With a growing number of individuals with disabilities seeking support, we are driven to provide the highest quality care.

As we expanded into various service types—including independent living services, day programs, and others—it became clear that great services require great people. That’s why we are committed to being the best employer we can be, supporting our dedicated staff as they make a difference daily.

Our mission reminds us that caring for those with disabilities and supporting those who serve them go hand in hand. When both are empowered, we believe we can make the world a better place.

Our Services

Supported Living Services (SLS)

The SLS model is one of the best things about services today. It is a flexible service that is tailored to the individual.

Children’s Licensed Care

Licensed care for children is a crucial support system for our society. Our group homes provide safe and supportive environments for children to develop into adulthood.

Adult Licensed care

Curtis Homes began with an adult facility. We love this model and currently operate three homes, each able to support four individuals.

Job Training Services

Our sister company and close partner, Semper Valeo, is one of the area's most cutting-edge and truly community-integrated work programs. Our clients learn actual trades, such as CNC machining, landscaping, distribution, and event operations.

Community Integration

Our newest creation, Springboard has exploded with popularity. Those who have visited our HQ during the day notice that it is eerily quiet—this is because everyone is out in the community!

Consultation

Whether you are a family member of a person with a disability or a new provider seeking mentorship, we offer affordable consulting to help you care for your people.
